At the prestigious Warriors for Good Awards 2025, Boreka Group celebrated a double win! CEO Esther Mutuma was honored with the Overall Gold Award in the Climate Action & Environmental Conservation (Individuals) category, recognizing her leadership in climate advocacy and action. The Boreka Group Foundation was also named the Best Finalist in the organizations category. During the DAAD Global Centers Conference in Berlin, Germany on the 10th- 12th September 2024, Boreka was represented on the Imaginaries of Climate Futures speaker panel, discussing cross regional insights to get from knowledge to action as well as the speaker panel on upscaling Nature-Based Solutions for Sustainable & Climate Change Resilient Agriculture. This was an opportunity to share Boreka’s work globally.
